What Your Cat Wants You to Know

Join us for an engaging Q&A session all about cat behavior – and all the things your cat wants you to know! Patricia Maass has been a WHS volunteer since 2002. Her extensive experience with adoption counseling, training, foster care, and past work with WeSNiP and the Alternative Humane Society make her a great resource and a wealth of knowledge about our beloved feline companions. Patricia will do a brief presentation and then jump into answering your questions. Topics may include choosing the right cat, introducing a new cat to your resident pets, acclimation, litterbox issues, scratching, shyness, overstimulation, kids with cats – and more!
This class will be presented via Zoom, so you can enjoy it from the comfort of home! This class is FREE. Registration is required. Registrants will receive a link to the Zoom meeting in the days before the event. Feel free to send questions in advance to volunteer@whatcomhumane.org.
