What to do with a Reactive Dog – FULL!
May 25, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

This event is now full! Stay tuned for future workshops!
Does Maggie, normally so sweet, flip out when she sees another dog? Does Ace sit at the window, whining at every squirrel? Does Molly run along the fence line, barking at passers-by? Why does Scout play so well with dogs at the park, but turns into a maniac on a leash?
These canine behaviors are incredibly common, absolutely natural, and yet very upsetting. In fact, reactivity is one of the most frequent reasons for dogs being surrendered to a shelter or rescue. The good news is that simple interventions and changes to your day-to-day routines can result in big changes that will improve life for both Cedar and you.
This class will help you understand why dogs behave this way, why many of the things you’re doing to “fix” it may inadvertently be making things worse, and how to implement straightforward behavior modification techniques that work.
