There are three available summer critter camp sessions with a capacity of 16 campers per session. Each one will happen Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm. Campers are limited to attending 1 session per summer and need to be between 8-10 years old at the start of the session they are attending.
Advanced registration and payment are required. Payment can be made online by purchasing a ticket for each camper below. Please make sure to select the session dates you’d like and that the dates do work with your schedule. Once payment is received you will be sent an email containing instructions to fill out the online registration form, photo release form, and Acknowledgement and Assumption of Risks and Liability Waiver. Registration will close Friday June 30th at 5pm. Spots will not be held until full payment is received.
NOTE: If you encounter an error message and/or would like to confirm that you did register and pay for your child’s spot, PLEASE contact WHS before attempting to register again. We can then confirm if your registration and payment went through. Contact Alaina at (360) 733-2080 ext 3116.
WHS understands that some young animal-lovers may not be able to afford the full cost of camp. As such, we have two scholarships per session available to those who need financial assistance. To request more information about the scholarship or the scholarship application, please contact Alaina at outreach@whatcomhumane.org or 360-733-2080 x3116.
NOTE: This is a drop off event. Please have your child wear clothes they do not mind getting dirty. Long pants and close-toed shoes are required. If you’ve attended one of our programs in the past, activities are likely to be similar. We’d love to have you join us again! Snacks will be provided but participants should bring a vegan/vegetarian sack lunch each day of camp.
Cancellation Policy: If space is available, campers may transfer their registration to another camp session within the same camp season at no charge. Cancelled registrations cannot be applied to registrations for the following year. If you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of the camp session, your registration fee will be refunded minus a $50 administrative fee. If you cancel your registration less than 14 days prior to the start of the camp session, no refund will be available. If a camp session is canceled by WHS, all registration fees will be refunded in full
