One of the most popular attractions at our annual Dog Days of Summer Festival each year is Steve, the animal caricaturist. Steve will be VIRTUALLY joining the festivities this year and you can still have him draw your animal’s picture – TWO PAWS UP!
For a $20 – $25 donation you can submit a digital photo of your best friend (dogs, cats, rabbits, turtles – it’s all good!) and Steve will use his amazing talents and create a one of a kind masterpiece drawing of your companion animal. You will receive via email an 8.5 X 11 digital copy of his work.
Photo entry will begin on Saturday, August 1 at 8:00 am and close Sunday, August 23 at 8:00 pm. Click here to get started!
Dog Days of Summer at Home Edition will be an ALL DAY virtual event on August 23rd. Tune into the WHS facebook page where members of the WHS staff and volunteer teams will be at the Whatcom Humane Society announcing walk winners, contest winners, showcasing volunteer/dog walking teams – and MORE! Our DDOS Vendors will also still be involved. We will provide a link to each participating vendor’s website so they can offer their own DDOS special, sale or activity. Stay tuned!
Proceeds from this year’s Dog Days of Summer at Home Edition Virtual Walk & Festival will benefit the domestic, wild and farm animals in our care. Please join us and help us help so many animals in need. WOOF!
