Understanding Canine Body Language ~ via Zoom!

This two-part series is presented by Angela Lenz, owner and lead trainer of Tails-A-Wagging Doggie Day Care and Canine Training Center,  For both lectures we will use photos and videos in a fun and thought provoking 2 hour lecture.

Understanding Canine Body Language Part 1: We will discuss neutral and appropriate behavior, to understand calm and relaxed body postures. We will observe normal play movements as they pertain to the family and other dogs. We we discuss what overstimulated and innapropriate play looks like and how to control it. During this fun lecture with videos, photos of real life examples our  canine pals in action, you can walk away feeling confident knowing how dogs communicate with each other and us.  Come for knowledge and laughs in part 1 of this 2 part series.

Understanding Canine Body Language Part 2: We will be dealing with fearful, reactive and aggressive behavior in dogs as well as barking lunging and leash reactivity. We will talk about appeasement and calming signals, canine stress and bite prevention.  You will come away with an action plan on how to directly help your own dog as well as other dogs you come in contact with in your day to day life. Using lecture, video, photographs and real life scenarios we can help you help the dogs in your life.

You are welcome to attend either or both parts in any order.

This class will be presented via Zoom, so you can enjoy it from the comfort of home!  This class is FREE.  Registration is required.  Registrants will receive a link to the Zoom meeting in the days before the event.
