A Day at the Mazes

Kids ages 10-13 are invited to join us for this fun 4-hour workshop that will spark their inner architect!  Teams will plan, construct and test various designs of mazes for these smart little rodents to navigate through.  Creativity, clever innovation and a lot of teamwork will lead to success – for the rats and the kids!  Snacks and all supplies will be provided.

Kids will be placed in groups of 3.  Please let us know at the time of registration if there are friends who wish to attend together!

Space is limited.  Advanced registration is required.  Payment must be made before a seat is reserved.  Tickets may be purchased online (below) via PayPal or credit card.

Each child attending will also need to have a completed release form returned to us.  Forms can be submitted at the shelter (in-person or via mail) or emailed to outreach@whatcomhumane.org.

** This is a drop-off event.  Parents are encouraged to join us at 12:30 to see the final run through of the races as well as the awards ceremony!
