We have adapted to these changing and uncertain times are excited to announce that this year’s Dog Days of Summer Festival will still be held . . . just in a different format.  We are pleased to announce the 2020 Dog Days of Summer AT HOME Virtual Walk & Festival!!

Dog Days of Summer Virtual Walk

Dog enthusiasts will gather on Sunday, August 23rd to walk or run at your own pace, for your own distance, in your own neighborhood, local park, hiking trail or even your backyard. Walk with your canine companion – or register and sponsor a WHS volunteer to walk a shelter dog during the day. Throughout the day on Aug 23rd, post photos wearing your Dog Days of Summer At Home bib number and tee shirt and you can win DOGGONE FUN prizes and support the animals at the Whatcom Humane Society at the same time.

Virtual Contests

Between Saturday, August 1 – Saturday, August 22 you can enter your best friend in a DDOS Contest and show the world just how PAWSOME they are.  There is no cost to enter these contests and you can enter as many contests as you want!  Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each category.
