Pet Food Bank
WHS operates a pet food bank for Whatcom County residents needing short-term assistance providing pet food for their pets. Food is distributed on a first come, first serve basis Tuesday Saturday from 10am 6pm at both shelter locations.
WHS distributes pet food at the Bellingham Food Bank on the 3rd Friday of each month starting at noon.
Unopened bags and cans of pet food are always welcome and appreciated. Donations may be dropped off at either shelter location Tuesday Saturday from 10am 6pm.

Speakers Bureau
Representatives from WHS are always happy to speak at community events such at garden clubs, rotary luncheons, classrooms, etc. Topics range from general animal care, WHS programs and services, animal welfare laws and legislation and dog/cat behavior.
