For over 100 years WHS has been sheltering abandoned animals, fighting cruelty and neglect, and working to build a caring, compassionate community.

As an open-admission shelter, the dedicated staff and volunteers at the Whatcom Humane Society cared for over 4,800 homeless, unwanted and abused animals in 2009.
